Purple vestments

In January 2024 I made a set of purple vestments and paraments for a church in Minnesota, USA. While they were in use during Lent I was asked to give a presentation to the congregation via Zoom in which I explained the reasons for the designs and gave a brief run-through of the making processes.

In April 2024 I made a set of red vestments and paraments for a church in Minnesota, USA. They have had limited use so far but when they had their first use at Pentecost, the congration were delighted and I was asked again to give a presentation to the congregation via Zoom in which I explained the reasons for the designs and gave a brief run-through of the making processes.

Priest's Chasuble

This is a 20 minute whizz through a week long process of creating a machine embroidery design, stitching it out and making it into a priest's chasuble - design is inspired by the Book of Kells.
