All rooms are spacious, have private facilities . . . and have been inspected by Fr Len himself! (He has not yet sampled the breakfasts yet, but hopes to do that one day soon!)
How to find St Michael and All Angels
If you are Walking . . . from the City Centre
The Church St Michael and All Angels is only a ten minute walk from the city centre of Inverness. Cross the River Ness either by the Ness Bridge (the road bridge down from the Town House) or the Greig Street Bridge (the suspension footbridge). When you reach the opposite bank of the river, turn right, and continue to walk along the riverside - Huntly Street. Soon, the path will take you under the Friars Bridge (a large road bridge). As soon as you have passed under this bridge, turn left . . . You are now in Abban Street and the Church is 200 meters on the left. Go back to the Map at the top of this page.
If you are Walking . . . from the Cathedral
With your back to the main front entrance to the Cathedral walk along the Riverside on the opposite bank from the city centre. You will pass the Ness Bridge (the road bridge down from the Town House) on the right - do not cross over the bridge. Continue down Huntly Street passing St Mary's Roman Catholic Church on the left and then the Greig Street Bridge (the suspension footbridge) on your right - but again, do not cross over the bridge! Continue to walk down the Riverside. Soon, the path will take you under the Friars Bridge (a large road bridge). As soon as you have passed under this bridge, turn left . . . You are now in Abban Street and the Church is 200 meters on the left. Go back to the Map at the top of this page.
Approaching by Car from the WEST - A82 - from Fort Augustus
As you approach Inverness continue over the Caledonian Canal bridge and onwards to the first set of traffic lights . . . and turn LEFT. Continue along this road until you reach a Roundabout. At the Roundabout . . . turn RIGHT - 3rd Exit and over the Bridge.
At the next Roundabout (at the other end of the Bridge) . . . turn LEFT - 1st Exit. As soon as you have crossed the River (yes - again!) . . . turn immediate LEFT - along the riverside. The road brings you towards the side of the road bridge (which is ahead and above you), but the road swings to the right. You are now in ABBAN STREET and the Church of St Michael and All Angels is on the left at the first junction you come to. There is unrestricted free parking on Abban Street and on all the streets around the church. - Go back to the Map at the top of this page.
Approaching by Car from the EAST - A96 - from Nairn
At the large Roundabout on the edge of Inverness . . . turn RIGHT - 3rd Exit, towards Kessock Bridge roundabout . . . and then follow the directions below, as if approaching Inverness from the South. Go back to the Map at the top of this page.
Approaching by Car from the SOUTH - A9 - from Perth
Continue on the A9 to the Roundabout at the south end of the Kessock Bridge (do not go over the bridge!) At the Roundabout at the south end of the Kessock Bridge . . . turn LEFT - first Exit (from the NORTH turn right). At the next Roundabout . . . continue STRAIGHT ON - 2nd Exit. At the next Roundabout . . . continue STRAIGHT ON - 2nd Exit. At the next Roundabout . . . bear towards the RIGHT - taking the THIRD EXIT.
As soon as you have crossed the River (yes - again!) . . . turn immediate LEFT - along the riverside.
The road brings you towards the side of the road bridge (which is ahead and above you), but the road swings to the right.

Continue on the A9 to the Roundabout at the south end of the Kessock Bridge
. . . and turn RIGHT - third Exit.
At the next Roundabout . . . continue STRAIGHT ON - 2nd Exit.
At the next Roundabout . . . continue STRAIGHT ON - 2nd Exit.
At the next Roundabout . . . bear towards the RIGHT - taking the THIRD EXIT.
As soon as you have crossed the River (yes - again!) . . . turn immediate LEFT - along the riverside.

As if you had your back to the main front door of the Cathedral . . . turn left and then frist right into Kenneth Street.
At the traffic lights continue straight on - still on Kenneth Street - until you reach a Roundabout.
At the Roundabout . . . turn RIGHT - 3rd Exit and over the Bridge.
